Piazzetta

The project was born from the desire to enhance a small square in the heart of the historic centre of Vicenza. The intervention is set within an urban context of strong historical and cultural value. The aim is to regenerate the public space, improving its usability and environmental quality. The proposal includes the introduction of new trees capable of providing shade and improving thermal comfort. This green system also helps to make the historic façade of the Cinema Odeon more permeable and visually readable. The Cinema Odeon is thus enhanced through a more direct dialogue with the surrounding public space. The intervention strengthens the integration between historic architecture and the contemporary urban landscape. The result is a renewed square that combines spatial quality, urban greenery, and historical identity.
