Villa Hermes is a semi-detached house created with the spirit of giving a new interpretation to the architectural composition of multi-family homes so that the single villa is not the only alternative for those who want privacy, exclusive architectural details and direct contact with the surrounding nature . This new architecture, the result of continuous research and desire to experiment, was inserted in continuity with the neighboring project where attention and the relationship with the surrounding greenery were developed and made a fundamental part of the concept. Without precluding the advantage of having views of the naturalistic areas offered by the area, the house is located in a strategic context, which offers access to all services. The architectural volume is made up of the addition of three macro elements such as: central living volume, the domus, a portico around the house, the peristylium and two lateral symmetrical volumes serving the domus for garage use, using recognizable and unequivocally attributable shapes to the home revisited in a contemporary key. The main idea was to go beyond the relationship between inside and outside by trying to almost completely eliminate this boundary, which, filtered only by a portico (peristylium), creates a walk that leads from the entrance around the house while maintaining a close relationship with the surrounding garden. Last but not least, the porch creates a solar filter around the house while ensuring indirect natural lighting and protection from atmospheric phenomena. On the first floor, however, it offers the possibility of having a practicable and green terrace with the desire to maintain a close relationship with nature.
