The Campedello villas were born from the desire to place, within the new subdivision under construction and close to completion, a project to qualify a green area of Vicenza. Without precluding the advantage of having views of the naturalistic areas offered by the area, the homes are located in a strategic context, along a main artery of Vicenza. One of the themes considered for the design is the relationship between public and private living with the study of an innovative solution that can catalyze and amplify human interactions. We thought of convivial spaces along the entire road front, including accesses and green areas, which could encourage a meeting and rest space between those who live and those who use urban spaces. Another theme considered is the architectural composition of the buildings with the use of recognizable shapes that can be unequivocally attributed to the local home revisited in a contemporary key. The housing system is made up of independent volumes, linked by a system of vegetation and common spaces that give a sense of unity to the project.
