Villa Fracasso

Villa Fracasso is an eighteenth-century villa that reinterprets the typical architectural features of the Venetian villa tradition. The renovation project mainly aims to ensure the safety of the entire building, in order to preserve its historical identity, which has developed over the centuries, while keeping intact the architectural “appearance” it has gained over time. The project addresses the reorganization of the interior spaces, adapting them to the needs of contemporary living, with particular attention to enhancing the existing valuable architectural elements. At the same time, the outdoor spaces are also redesigned, with the aim of restoring a coherent relationship between the villa and the surrounding landscape. The intervention is based on a balance between conservation and transformation, avoiding invasive changes to the original layout. The design choices aim to integrate functionality with respect for the historic building. The valuable elements are preserved and enhanced through a careful and respectful approach to the context. The final result is an intervention that combines historical continuity with contemporary needs.
